Our open source, web-enabled systems allow us to work together with you - collaboratively.
We have developed a simple, but effective system which uses an ACCESS database as the front-end to an open source (MySql) database which is output to a wiki. This combination allows us to manage the data entry process, but allows the client to interact in with us in an intuitive manner. We currently use this system to manage the ISPS compliance process for a fleet of nearly 100 ships.

Sentinel have been involved with the ISPS Code since its inception. Our managing director was an observer at the diplomatic conference which adopted the ISPS Code and led a team of people which took some of the very first ships through the approval process. Steve Jones was a delegate to that convention and has worked with P&I clubs, public and governmental agencies as an industry spokesman advocating best practice in maritime security. We are proud to have taken over 150 ships through the approval process, assisted major companies in traning and process management, and have conducted highly innovative and effective live exercises in three separate countries.
